About Me
I am an Assistant Professor (Agribusiness Management) at the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) an organisation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW), Government of India (GoI). My specialization is in Agribusiness Management, specially Agribusiness Incubation and Entrepreneurship Development.
Centre for Innovation and Agripreneruship is a section 8 company hosted at MANAGE. It is a Centre of Excellence in Agribusiness Incubation and Knowledge Partner to MoA&FW for Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana – Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sector Rejuvenation (RKVY RAFTAAR). Play an instrumental role as Co-Principal Investigator and COO/Business Manager in executing the overall activities. Also, work as the Project Coordinator for National Entrepreneurship Awards curated by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoMSDE), GoI.
Have 8+ years of experience in academia, industry and research. Have 25+ publications in the journals/books of national and international repute.

Key Activities
At present, 211 startups are supported by us. It is one of the highest numbers of startups supported by an Agribusiness Incubator in India within a period of only three years, 2017-20.
We are also supporting the 700 members enrolled in Incubation centre, trained under AC&ABC scheme.
We have come up with several innovative and unique program for startups at different stages and requirements (Impulse – Agribusiness Incubation Program, Krishi Vikas – Search for AgriInnovations, AgriTech Accelerator Program, Aqua Clinic and Aquapreneurship Development Program, etc.). So far, have evaluated 1600 Startup applications for different programs.
We have trained 250 startups at MANAGE. Till date, 25 training programs/ workshops have been conducted to train startups, middle and senior-level government officers, academicians, researchers, scientists, etc.
Took 150+ sessions during MANAGE training programs, sessions for international visitors and invited talks at various institutes.
15 startups of MANAGE have received funding of ₹157 lakh from first cohort (₹257.05 lakh for 25 startups of the second cohort is in the pipeline) and a total of ₹795 lakh has been sanctioned for startups of MANAGE and MANAGE supported RABIs (Agribusiness Incubation Centres).
Besides the responsibility of MANAGE faculty, handling the role of Co-PI and Business Manager of RKVY RAFTAAR project, Co-ordinator and Core committee member for National Entrepreneurship Awards (2018-19 & 2019-20), a member in Centre of Excellence Incubation Committee for evaluation of startups and overall activities of Centre for Innovation and Agripreneurship and MANAGE Incubation Centre.
Preparation of Project Proposals, presentations for new projects, Progress reports, Press notes, MIS of RKVY RAFTAAR, inputs for improvement of guidelines for MoA&FW, MANAGE and CIA publications, coordination with CIA team, conducting training programs, webinars, mentoring Startups, State in - charge for Assam state for implementation of MANAGE schemes, etc. are the activities involved in.
Through various programs of CIA, we are actively encouraging and supporting MANAGE PGDM alumni and students to take up entrepreneurship.
